Ice Climbing Lincoln Falls – 5 Apr 2014 2 Comments / Trip Report / By Charles Miske Lincoln Falls approach from reservoir parking Todd pauses for a photo on the uphill slog in knee/waist deep snow Bowling Alley, Scottish Gully, Lincoln Falls Major – many names over the years I went out the full 70M rope length and got in two screws then brought Todd up Todd rounding the last ice bulge I put a screw in, about 100′ below Todd poses for a pic halfway up the steep snow slope I sent Todd up to lead the last 60′ – his first lead Todd above his first screw on the headwall Todd above his second screw on the headwall Todd sinking his tool as he prepares to top out and bring me up Todd belaying from the chains at the belay boulder At the belay boulder at the top of Scottish Gully Todd on the walk-off Todd below the route, our track obvious abover Scottish Gully between the trees from the parking lot.
